After the skin is prepped, the Blue Radiance Peel will be applied. The application is quick, and in just a few minutes will be removed by the aesthetician. No anaesthetic is required as the procedure is pain free. A mild tingling sensation may be felt for the first one to two minutes. A series of treatments may be necessary to achieve the desired results.

The Obagi Blue Radiance Peel requires just under a week of recovery time. Initially, the treated skin may be slightly pink. Immediately after the procedure, extractions can be performed, if necessary. Appropriate sunscreen will then be applied.

It is vital during the recovery period to continue with application of sunscreen. You will be given specific aftercare instructions to follow the over the next several days.
