Algae body wrap

A body wrap is a spa treatment experience and can also be called a body ‘cocoon’. It begins with some kind of exfoliation, which is a fancy word that means removing dead skin cells. Usually, a spa therapist will use a high quality scrub to make sure the exfoliation is as efficient as possible.

Algae wraps help to nourish and detoxify the skin. After a scrub, algae is applied to the skin, usually in a paste form. You are then wrapped in foil or a blanket for a short while. When time is up, you enjoy a shower as you remain laying down. If you have cellulite, algae wraps are meant to be especially helpful.
