The beauty of Jane Iredale mineral cosmetics is that they are suitable for all skin types, and particularly beneficial to sensitive skin that tends to react to certain ingredients found in most conventional make-up.

The formulations are free from the top three sensitizers – perfume, chemical dyes and preservatives. Mineral make-up is derived from pure concentrated pigments such as titanium dioxide and zinc oxide, offering flawless, long-lasting coverage and colour without irritation, while promoting a healthy complexion.

Just a small amount will cover any type of redness or blemish, including acne and rosacea yet it feels feather-light. The bases act as concealer, foundation, weddi powder and sunblock all in one (no need for separate foundation and powder).

They do not contain pore-clogging, drying fillers such as talc and cornstarch and give natural SPF 20 protection against ageing UV rays.

Layers of overlapping mineral crystals prevent excessive moisture-loss, while still allowing the skin to breathe, and are light-reflective to obscure fine lines and wrinkles.

The minerals’ anti-inflammatory properties also make them ideal for use after facials, waxing, peels, micro-dermabrasion and laser resurfacing.
